Koala Tea Towel
Our koala tea-towel features original hand drawn contemporary illustrations featuring two adults and a baby nestled amongst the gum leaves. All tea towels have been hand screen-printed by us from our studio in Canberra Australia.
Koalas are not bears. They are not placental or ‘eutherian’ mammals, but marsupials, this means that their young are born immature & they develop further in the safety of a pouch. It’s incorrect to call them ‘Koala bears’ – their correct name is simply ‘Koalas’ for further information click through here.
Water based and solvent free pigment has been used in the printing process to help protect the environment. The base cloth is 100% natural linen which has been chosen for its high absorbent qualities.
